Are you familiar with Exam Master Online? It’s a great study resource for preparing for the boards, other certification exams, or even just to review.

A new feature has been added to the Exam Master Online system: Flashcards. You can edit, view and create an unlimited number of flashcards. There is a help file readily available to guide you through the process.

New Epocrates Rx Beta for Androids

Are you an Android user?  Update the Epocrates Rx beta app for your Android to access new drug information.  It’s easy to do…just follow these quick directions:

 

1. Tap the Market icon and then the [Downloads] button

2. Scroll down to Epocrates and tap it

3. Tap the [Update] button and follow the on-screen instructions

Watch for the newest Epocrates Rx app later this summer.  New features will include the ability to sync, increased speed, improved usability, formularies and more.

New Features Added to CINAHL Database

Several new limiters have been added to CINAHL to better focus search results:

• Written by a Nurse:
  • First Author is Nurse:  retrieves records where it is confirmed that the first author of an article is a nurse
  • Any Author is Nurse:  retrieves records where at least one author is a nurse
  • Limit only good for articles 2009 -Forward
