Good News! Norris Medical Library has teamed up with USC’s Information and Technology Service (ITS) to bring its Statistical Consulting Service to the HSC community, starting September 10, 2012.
The free consultation service will be conducted at the Norris Medical Library‘s newly established Bioinformatics Computation and Consulting Center by Dr. Brenda Osuna, Senior Statistical Consultant at the ITS Customer Support Center. The consultation service will initially be available biweekly on Mondays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will become more frequent if there is sufficient demand.
Consultations are intended to cover the following major topics:
- Full support for SAS, JMP and SPSS software, including software installation, configuration and usage.
- Statistical computing issues related to experimental design, survey design, and data analysis and interpretation.
Requests for appointments with Dr. Osuna must be scheduled via an online form.
