Capture, 'Cast, and Communicate: Creating Videos for Teaching

Videos can be an effective way to capture audience attention and explain complicated topics, whether you’re in the clinic, classroom, laboratory, or presenting at a conference.    Free and low-cost online tools are available to create videos from still images, while others can record your computer screen and voice to create a customized “webcast.”

Learn to incorporate videos from YouTube and other web sites into your PowerPoint presentations to add interest and in-depth information.  Join us in the East Conference Room on Friday, September 28 from Noon – 1:00 pm for free pizza and bottled water at our next Technology Lunch Series workshop to learn about free or low-cost software for creating your own videocasts.
