NML Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

 

NML will observe the following schedule for the Thanksgiving holiday:

Wednesday	November 25, 2009	7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday	November 26, 2009	CLOSED
Friday	November 27, 2009	9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday	November 28, 2009	9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday	November 29, 2009	9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

After-Hours Study in Seaver Plaza Café

Wish you had someplace to study when the library’s closed?  Well now you do!  Effective immediately, HSC Seaver Plaza Café is available to students after-hours and on weekends.  In addition to existing vending machines outside Seaver, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate vending machine soon will be added.

• Delicious: web-based program to help you organize and share your bookmarks
• Email alerts: receive Table of Contents or Early Release Article alerts for selected journals

Books and Veggies are Good for You

Why not pick up something to read while buying veggies at the HSC farmer’s market Wednesday?  The Norris Medical Library will be selling medical books and leisure reading materials at the bargain price of $2 each. Come by our table in the quad from 11-2 on Wednesday October 28 and find some great deals!

Halloween probably comes to mind when you think about holidays and events in October. However, the Medical Library Association http://www.mlanet.org/ has declared the entire month of October as National Medical Librarians Month.
