AccessPharmacy Supports Pharmacy Education

AccessPharmacy, an important new pharmacy resource, is now available from the library website. The database includes 23 textbooks, including Goodman and Gilman’s The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics with online-only text updates and animations, and Pharmacotherapy: a Pathophysiologic Approach by Joseph T. DiPiro, et al. Students can browse by curricular topic or organ system or use the Advanced Search mode to search for a topic in any or all of the system’s textbooks.

The resource also includes

  • drug monographs
  • medical calculators
  • lab test information from the Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests
  • integrated case studies
  • care plans

A Self-Assessment module includes curricular topic quizzes, organ system quizzes, and NAPLEX review. Over 500 curricular topics from the core curriculum are covered by interactive Questions and Answers, with over 4,000 questions mapped to the core curriculum. Users must sign up for a free personal account to use this module.
