Learn New PDF Tricks at NML Lunchtime Workshop

Do you ever wish you could type notes on lecture handouts or directly on a journal article without having to print it out? “Taking Notes on PDFs and More,” the first workshop in the 2011 Technology Lunch Series, will cover free software for typing and drawing on PDFs, transferring files without using thumb drives or email attachments and new ways to collaborate on group projects. Come to Norris’ West Conference Room on January 27, 2011 from 12-1 PM to learn about some cool new tools and enjoy free pizza.

Be sure to check out our Facebook page for upcoming workshops in 2011.

Is it possible to obtain this software and information at another time? I have a scheduled exam review for Thursday 12-1, but would really like to be able to learn to type on PDF, etc. Thanks much

Thanks for your interest in the workshop. You can get more information about the PDF editing tools on the Collaborate tab of our Web 2.0 LibGuide.

If there is a group interested in the workshop, we may be able to arrange additional presentations. Contact Amy Chatfield, this workshop coordinator, at amychatf@usc.edu.
