PubMed Adds New Citation Management Features

PubMed’s My NCBI account users have two new options for saving citations.  Now you can download citations as a text file that can be imported into EndNote, Refworks or other citation manager software.  To use this feature, begin by clicking on the “Send to” link, choose “Citation manager” as the destination and click “Create File”.  Read the rest of this entry »


Norris Library on YouTube

…And you thought libraries only had books and journals!  Norris Library also has its own YouTube Channel.  There are currently 6 titles created by Norris librarians and staff and more are being planned.  Topics range from information about the library (5 Things You Need to Know), how to do research (Find Resources by Topic and NML PubMed Tutorial) and even a piece about the USC football team’s visit to the Health Sciences campus.  Take a look and let us know what you think!


AccessPhysiotherapy Added to Norris Library

AccessPhysiotherapy,  the newest title in McGraw-Hill’s digital learning platform,  was recently added to Norris Library’s eResources collection.  The database provides searchable, full-text access to McGraw-Hill physical therapy and internal medicine titles, interactive imaging content, curricular management tracking tools and tests, more than 80 videos, neurology lectures and image banks.
